Overview
Elm Harvest is a static website. It has no database, no user accounts, and no server-side processing of personal information. The sections below describe the limited data handling that does occur in your browser.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. When the cookie notice on the home page is shown, your choice to accept or reject is saved as a single value in your browser's local storage so the notice is not shown again. This value stays on your device and is not transmitted to the site.
Contact form
The contact form runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the fields are validated and a confirmation message is shown, but the information is not sent to a server or stored. No email is dispatched and no message is delivered. If you want to reach the editor, use the email address listed in the footer.
External links and images
Pages link to third-party reference sites and load photographs hosted on Wikimedia Commons. When your browser requests those resources, the third parties may receive standard request information such as your IP address. Their own privacy practices apply to those requests.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Because the site stores no personal data on a server, changes affect only how the site behaves in your browser.
